POSTURAL REHABILITATION THERAPY
MYOFASCIAL CHAINS
The Myofascial Chains Method is a global methodology, a therapeutic alternative to the more traditional and aggressive way of working in the physiotherapy field.
The main focus is on focusing on the cause of the pain and not the symptom.
With this method, therefore, the biomechanical imbalances that are at the basis of the onset of pathologies are sought, so that if we understand the mechanism that led to that pain or that pathology, we will be able to solve it in a much more effective way and above all maintain the state of well-being more long.
To better understand the functioning of myofascial chains we must imagine them as anatomical elements that wrap and connect all parts of the body.
In practice they are like a large "cobweb" that ensures that there is nothing isolated from the rest in the body.
Each Chain has its own specific function, a pattern that affects our posture and movements.
When the Chains are flexible and in balance with each other, the individual is in a state of well-being.
When, on the other hand, we find ourselves in the presence of a shortening or stiffness of one or more chains, the postural balance is altered with consequences on the rest of the body and the onset of one or more pathologies.
We therefore have the task of recognizing and treating the myofascial chains responsible for postural imbalance to lead to the disappearance of pain and well-being maintained over time.
FOOT REFLEXOLOGY
Foot reflexology is the basic massage that leads to a deep relaxation e to an intense feeling of well-being; in this state it is easier to detox from bad moods that harm the body and to strengthen the body's natural self-defences.
The feet are one of the most important parts of the body, yet they are often the most neglected, especially in men. It is precisely through foot massage that you can alleviate discomfort that occurs throughout the body to rediscover total well-being.
Foot reflexology is a massage done with the thumbs of the hands on the sole of the foot and serves to rebalance the energy and well-being of the body. In the feet there are many nerve endings which, if stimulated, send inputs to the brain to make us feel better.
There is a map of the reflex points, i.e. the points on the sole of the feet connected to the parts of the body, on which the reflexologist can work by exerting pressure which stimulates beneficial effects.
Among the first effects that can be perceived after a plantar reflexology treatment is a formidable sense of relaxation: tensions are released, circulation improves, feet are "lighter".
