CRANIOSACRAL
The craniosacral technique consists of gentle manipulations of the cranial bones, seen as a means of interacting with the health of the person and of the central and peripheral nervous systems.
Craniosacral massage is a holistic technique in which the operator implements a very light touch on the cranial bones and spine and in different parts of the body, in order to establish contact with the person's craniosacral rhythm, to stimulate and support it.
Through light manipulations, almost imperceptible to the recipient, the cranio-sacral treatment is able to intervene on the entire organism through the connections with the central nervous system.
The operator interacts with the cranial rhythmic impulse, a physiological component which, thanks to the cerebrospinal fluid which communicates with the central nervous system.
At the beginning of the twentieth century it was hypothesized that there was a movement inside the skull.
Practical experimentation was possible in 1975, when the semi-rigid nature of the skull, capable of measurable micro-movements, was empirically clarified.
