Moroccan ghassoul, the ancient natural clay of the Chorfa Al Akhdar brand. This ancient clay has been used for many generations for hair and body care.
Absorbs all the oil and dirt without hurting the skin.
Helps the hair not greasy and adds shine and texture.
It does not contain surfactants, so washing is 100% natural and healthy.

HISTORICAL ORIGIN OF GHASSOUL

In Morocco there is a clay called "saponiferous" which has been used for centuries and probably since the Middle Ages (12th and 13th centuries) by all the populations of North Africa and also in some regions of the Middle East. This clay is called Ghassoul and this term finds its origin in the verb "Rassala" which in Arabic means to wash. This clay is mined in the tunnels of the underground mine.

GHASSOUL AND THE MOROCCAN TRADITION
Ghassoul or Moroccan clay has been part of the ancestral tradition and customs of Morocco and Tunisia for many decades.
In Tunisia it is called ''Tfal'', and it is still today an essential product in the hammam ritual.

The recipes and forms of preparation are handed down from generation to generation, both in Morocco and in Tunisia.
Ghassoul is blended with rose water and essential oils to enhance the fragrance and its moisturizing qualities.
